Project Mega S.K.I.F.F. (Sega Genesis)

     This project is related to my main project in development, Project S.K.I.F.F. , which you can find here : https://weapon121.itch.io/project-skiff and  https://weapon121.itch.io/project-skiff-anthology-pc. Part of a much greater effort of games.

     What if ? That was the first thing that came to mind. What if this version was a full blown shootem'up ? Known for having some of the best shootem'ups of its era, the Genesis ( Or megadrive, as it was known back in europe and the rest of the world ) was a powerhouse when it came to this type of game. So how can I NOT make this version of the game, based on that alone? All stages (and some exclusive ones...) enemies, bosses, new weapons, new soundtrack and powerups, but from a different perspective! Inspired from the likes of life force, R-Type and UN Squadron, this is my one little guilty pleasure in this list...

 If there is one thing many great games have in common, its that they have a great soundtrack. The artist creating the OST for this game , is no different. Very talented to say the least! Know as "FraynVGM" , you can see his stuff here:
